Trutine of Hermes
Calculate time options for the prenatal chart age.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
Trutine Hermes seeks birth time options by the radix relationship and calculated prenatal chart age in the Keffer method variant. It gives a separate methodological hypothesis for birth time rectification.
When to use it
- When you are exploring this particular method of clarification time.
- When you want to compare the proposed time with the known birth interval.
Terms explained
- Birth time rectification
- Investigation of possible birth times using a particular method. The calculation produces candidates for checking, rather than a confirmed birth-time record.
- Radix
- The reference chart used for comparison. It is usually a natal chart, but a radix does not have to represent a birth.
- Asc and MC
- The Ascendant (Asc) is associated with the intersection of the ecliptic and the eastern horizon. The Midheaven (MC) is associated with the upper part of the local meridian. Both depend on time and location.
Where to find it
The Trutine Hermes technique.
How to use it
- Open the original chart. Specify a location in the prenatal chart or leave the same thing in the radix.
- Select the duration of pregnancy or known number of days, the rule of horizon and the width of interval.
- Click “Calculate”. View the list of intervals, time found, age and check.
- If necessary, turn on the protocol. To record the result, click "Apply to chart" and confirm the specific change of time.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
Prenatal and radix locations are the sameCalculation
Build a prenatal age chart for birthplace.
- What changes
- On: common place; off: a search for a separate city prenatal chart appears, changing its horizon.
- When to use it
- Leave it on unless the method and the output data ask for another place.
Prenatal locationData
Location of the calculation prenatal chart era.
- What changes
- Available when the shared city is turned off. You need to select the atlas result, not just the title text.
- When to use it
- Use a known or reasonable place according to the rules of the study; a random change will affect the result.
Moon aligned with the horizon (instead of the Asc–Dsc axis)Calculation
Alternative geometric condition of the Trutine method.
- What changes
- Off: the Asc-Dsc axis is used. On: the horizontal variant is checked; the time candidate may change.
- When to use it
- Compare the variants of the method and record which condition you used. This helps reproduce the calculation but does not improve the accuracy of the recorded birth time.
Gestation length / Known number of daysCalculation
The length of time between birth and age by method.
- What changes
- The 7–10 lunar-month options set the corresponding basis. Known number of days enables a value from 150–320. Here, 10 lunar months means 273 days, not 10 calendar months.
- When to use it
- Use the own number for reliable output data; it is a parameter of the astrological method, not a medical estimate.
Interval list: ±6 / ±12 / ±24 hoursCalculation
The width of the circle, in which the intervals and candidates are shown.
- What changes
- A wider circle can find additional options. Choosing a range line allows you to consider another solution.
- When to use it
- If there is no resolution in the current time interval, explore the list, rather than change the initial time intentionally.
Detailed logAppearance
A table of interim calculations.
- What changes
- On: time, age and balance; off: short display. The result with the same parameters does not change.
- When to use it
- A professional is required to test the algorithm and compare the options; a beginner is sufficient for the basic result.
Calculate / Search / StopAction
Launches calculations for current fields; during long work shows progress and the ability to stop.
- What changes
- Stop interrupts the current task. After changing the fields, check if the result has already been updated or if a new start is needed.
- When to use it
- First check the period and filters. For too large task, reduce the range or number of points.
Apply to chartAction
Record the selected time-candidate in the weekend chart after confirmation.
- What changes
- Change the date of birth and keep a chart with it; it’s more than a view of calculation.
- When to use it
- First, record the initial time and check the candidate with other data. The calculated resolution does not confirm the actual moment of birth.
The result
The calculation will show the candidate of time and related values of the radix and epoch.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- The time of birth is known approximately, and the method gives the candidate in a different interval.
- What to do
- View the list of intervals, age and protocol without changing the chart immediately.
- How to read the result
- First assess the candidate's consistency with the initial data; the calculation age is not the established date of conception.
For professional practice
The interval list and protocol make the intermediate steps of the method verified, and confirmation separates the calculation from the change of the record.
What to check for a precise comparison
Record the duration of pregnancy, the rule of horizon and the location of the prenatal chart. One coincidence for Trutine is not enough to confirm time.
Keep in mind
The application changes the birth time in the saved chart. Before confirmation, turn the initial and new time; you can pre-backup.
