Statistics and aspect patterns
View the distribution of planets and found figures chart.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
Statistics compresses the chart to review: the distribution of points by elements, crosses and sectors. The search for configurations collects individual aspects into geometric figures so that they are easier to notice.
When to use it
- For the first look at the chart structure.
- To check which planets form the figure found.
Terms explained
- Aspect
- An angular relationship between two chart points that matches an angle enabled in the calculation, such as a 90° square.
- Orb
- The permitted deviation from an exact aspect angle. A wider orb includes more contacts and extends the periods during which they are considered active.
Where to find it
The right panel is “Analysis”.
How to use it
- Open the Analysis tab and select Showing quantities or percentages.
- If needed, include Asc and MC. Compare elements, modalities, hemispheres, quadrants and houses.
- In the configuration section, click on the figure found to light it up in a circle. A repeat click removes the background lighting.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
As percentagesAppearance
It shows the percentage of points in a group instead of the absolute number.
- What changes
- Enabled: percentage of the total set considered; enabled: quantity. Rounding can give a small difference in the amount of 100 %.
- When to use it
- To compare the chart with different composition of points, but first agree which points are counted.
Include Asc and MCCalculation
Adds angles to the set, which builds statistics and configurations of this panel.
- What changes
- Enabled: particles and found figures can change; off: angles are not involved. This does not add physical planets.
- When to use it
- Leave the same state for comparison; if time is unknown, angular results are unreliable.
Aspect patternAction
A geometric figure, such as a tau-quadrat or a large trigon, is found.
- What changes
- The click illuminates its points and connections on the circle; the re-lighting removes the background. The composition depends on the orb and the set of points.
- When to use it
- To check which planets formed the named configuration.
The result
Get statistics and a list of found configurations for the current chart.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- In the list found a taurus square.
- What to do
- Press it and consider the underlying points and aspects.
- How to read the result
- So you check the composition of the figure, not just remember its name.
For professional practice
A quick overview helps to select objects for further analysis and to configure figures with a real grid of aspects.
What to check for a precise comparison
Percentages depend on the set of points considered. Configurations depend on the definitions of figures and orb; they are not an automatic psychological conclusion.
Keep in mind
The definitions of the configurations are described in the panel note. Their composition depends on the points of the chart and the applied aspects.
