Data storage, offline use and notifications

Find out what is stored in your browser and what functions the network needs.

Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.

What it is and why it matters

The web version works with data from a particular browser and domain. This section explains where the folder is stored and why logging in from another device does not mean that your chart already exists.

When to use it

  • To prepare the working environment and backup.
  • To understand the difference between a local and private server version.

Where to find it

Browser profile, in which the star is opened.

How to use it

  1. If the private version shows a login form, first log in. After the first launch, wait for resources to be downloaded. Search for a city and open the required additional network screens.
  2. Regularly save a backup from the chart database, especially before cleaning browser data or switching to another domain.
  3. In a regular offline work compilation, reopen the already-ready application in the same profile. Downloaded resources and database can be used without networking.
  4. To update, close the previous version tabs and open the program again.

Settings and options

Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.

Site data / Offline / UpdatesData

Local chart and settings belong to the domain and browser profile.

What changes
Cleaning the site data removes local storage. The usual reboot of the tab is another action. A private version with a login requires a network.
When to use it
Before cleaning or changing a domain, save a backup; logging into a private version does not mean chart synchronization between devices.

The result

Chart and local calculations are available within the data stored by the browser; the assistant works with the network.

Worked example

This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.

Situation
On the phone after entering there is no chart from the computer.
What to do
Check your profile and domain; transfer the file with a backup copy.
How to read the result
This is an expected difference between local storage and not a sign of deleting records on the computer.

For professional practice

It provides a basis for organizing work between devices and understanding the boundaries of offline access and notifications.

What to check for a precise comparison

For the private server version, a network is required. For local offline work, check the cache in advance; Watch requires an open tab.

Keep in mind

The database belongs to a specific domain and browser profile. Another browser, private window or other device will not receive it automatically.

Cleaning the site data deletes the local database and cache. In private mode, the data may disappear after closing the session.

Offline is available in a standard set and depends on service worker and stored cache. Private server version with login requires network and does not cache pages and resources. Watch does not check events when the browser is closed.
