Astrological lots and custom catalogs
Find the astrological lots by name or formula, check its source and day or night shape.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
Astrological lots is an additional point chart derived from the formula of other positions. It is not a separate planet. The catalog helps to find the correct formula and see where its result is located in the chart.
When to use it
- When you study Fortune, Spirit or other astrological lots.
- When you need to check a specific historical or own version of the formula.
Terms explained
- Astrological lot
- A calculated point derived from the longitudes of other chart points. A formula may combine Asc, the Sun and the Moon and have different day and night versions.
- House and cusp
- Houses are the twelve chart sectors associated with life topics in astrological practice. A cusp marks the beginning of a house; its position depends on the time, location and house system.
Where to find it
Right panel → “astrological lots”.
How to use it
- Select the catalog: main astrological lots, Zorya Core Lots, advanced set or custom catalog.
- Enter a name or part of the formula in the search. View position, house, formula and source.
- In the "Form" box, leave "For chart" or clearly select day or night. Check the option of using cusps H1/H10 instead of Asc/MC.
- For your own set, click “Import .prs...” and select the file. Read missed lines and error messages.
- To get an interpretation, use “Analyze with AI” after setting up the assistant.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
CatalogCalculation
Choose a set of formulas for astrological lots: main, Zorya Core Lots, advanced or imported.
- What changes
- Changes the list of available points and formulas. The same name in different sources does not guarantee the same calculation.
- When to use it
- For research, open the formula and source of a particular record, not rely only on the title.
Formula version: From chart / Day / NightCalculation
Some astrological lots change the order of the components for day and night.
- What changes
- "For chart" selects the shape automatically; "Day" and "Night" compulsively set the option and can change longitude.
- When to use it
- Leave automatically for regular analysis. The compulsory mode is required to verify a specific formula or conflicting source.
Use H1/H10 instead of Asc/MCCalculation
Replaces the geometric angles of the cusps of the first and tenth house in the corresponding formulas.
- What changes
- On: formulas take H1/H10. Off: Asc/MC. In systems where these points do not match, the result will be different.
- When to use it
- In Placidus, the difference may be invisible; in whole signs it is significant. The choice should correspond to the source of the formula.
Search lotsAppearance
Filter by name or part of a formula in the current directory.
- What changes
- Shrink the table; does not change the value of calculated points.
- When to use it
- If there is no record, clear the search and check the directory.
Import .prs… / Delete catalogAction
Adds a own directory from the text file; removal removes the selected custom set.
- What changes
- UTF-8 and Windows-1251 are supported; the summary shows unread lines. The file is not deleted.
- When to use it
- After importing, wrap several formulas with the source, including day and night options.
Analyze with AIAction
Transmits selected astrological lots into a conversation assistant for explanation.
- What changes
- I need an AI. Interpretation does not replace the source verification and the algorithm of astrological lots.
- When to use it
- To clarify the value of a particular point; first check that the calculation is available and has the desired form.
The result
The list will show the calculated astrological lots from the selected catalog.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- In the two sources, Fortune positions differ.
- What to do
- Switch the day/night form, use Asc or H1 and record the formula itself.
- How to read the result
- The difference can be explained by different rules of the formula, not by the error of adding longitude.
For professional practice
Directors, sources, alternative names and imports .prs help you explore options while retaining the origin of each calculation.
What to check for a precise comparison
Separate the source of the formula from its interpretation. Check for all points that the formula refers to.
Keep in mind
If the formula uses a missing point, star or other astrological lots, the program shows the reason why the value is not calculated.
Supports importing .prs in Windows-1251 or UTF-8. Removing your own directory does not delete the original file.
