All rings and aspect direction
Choose an active circle and a pair between which to look for aspects.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
Each circle is a separate set of statements: natal chart, forecast or partner chart. Circle management explains whose data you are reading, which points are shown and between which sets aspects are sought.
When to use it
- When there are too many lines in a complex chart or it is not clear which table is opened.
- When you need to compare the chosen pair of circles.
Terms explained
- Radix
- The reference chart used for comparison. It is usually a natal chart, but a radix does not have to represent a birth.
- Aspect
- An angular relationship between two chart points that matches an angle enabled in the calculation, such as a 90° square.
Where to find it
Right panel → “All Circles”; circles above chart; Alt+A for aspects direction.
How to use it
- Build a chart with several circles through F4.
- In the Circle Panel, select the active. The icon of the loop sets visible planets, the eye hides the circle; dragging changes the order. Numbers 1–7 switch available circles when the cursor is not in the text field.
- Open "All Circles" to match the positions in one table. Select the format longitude from the list; a click on the headline makes the circle active.
- For a complex chart, open "Aspect Direction" (Alt+A) and set pairs of circles. Check the grid and page of aspects.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
Active ring / keys 1–7Appearance
Chooses which circuit data the inspector shows and what aspects are drawn.
- What changes
- 1 - radix, the next numbers - added circles. The choice does not transits the new time of birth.
- When to use it
- If the table shows unexpected positions, check the active circuit.
Show / Hide ring (eye)Appearance
View the added car.
- What changes
- The hidden circle remains in the set and can be returned. This is different from removing the circle.
- When to use it
- When you need to temporarily remove the excess lines during the consultation.
Ring planet filter / AllAppearance
Use the filter under the funnel icon to choose which bodies appear on this ring.
- What changes
- The turned off planet is removed from this set; “All” removes the filter. natal cartotheque does not remove the planet or record from this.
- When to use it
- Leave a few required bodies to read a complex chart; for a full overview reset them all.
Drag / Move up / Move down / Remove ringAction
Order and storage of predictive circles.
- What changes
- The re-set changes the order; the clearing removes the added technique from the chart. The partner's output record remains in the database.
- When to use it
- To show the necessary comparison closer to the radix and remove the over-the-counter techniques.
Aspect direction: ring pairsCalculation
Choose the pairs of rings between which to find aspects.
- What changes
- On: the pair is involved; off: its connections are not picked out. The current circuit designation controls its own aspects.
- When to use it
- To separate “natal chart–transits” from “progressions–transits”. An unselected pair may explain the absence of an expected line.
Fixed ring in a pair: inner / outer / ResetCalculation
Indicates the reference circle for determining the movement and phase of the intercard aspect.
- What changes
- The switch can change the climb/disclose classification. The drop returns the standard pairs natal chart with added circles.
- When to use it
- For professional study, the contact phase; together with the result note which circle was stationary.
Longitude formatAppearance
A method of writing the same position in the table "All circles".
- What changes
- Available are the signs with minuses, the signs with seconds, the signs with hundreds of seconds, the absolute decimal longitude, the absolute degrees with minuses, the whole degree of the sign.
- When to use it
- Example: 12° Pisces correspond to 342° absolute longitude. More accurate signatures do not change the calculation.
The result
The tables and aspects will match the selected circles and their pairs.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- You want to see the aspects of progressions to the natal chart, temporarily removing transits from the figure.
- What to do
- Change the visibility of transits and check the direction of aspects for the desired pair.
- How to read the result
- Visual hiding of the circle is not equal to removing it from the calculation.
For professional practice
The planetary filter, pair selection and a complete table of circles allow you to control the composition of the analysis and to check the coordinates next door.
What to check for a precise comparison
Align the active circuit, pair of aspects and format longitude; otherwise you can compare the correct values belonging to different techniques.
Keep in mind
The hidden circle saves the number and can participate in the calculation; to remove it completely, delete it through the selector.
