Find calendar rulers and cycles for the selected date and location.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
The tool collects the calendar and forecast calculations of the Avestite school: date, rulers, small solar return and terrar. It is useful when you have already chosen this tradition for the study of cycles.
When to use it
- To study small solar return and terrar on your chart.
- To compile the sequence of appropriate cycles for the selected year and place.
Terms explained
- Minor solar return
- One of twelve moments in the Avestan solar cycle: the Sun reaches its natal longitude and subsequent points at 30° intervals. The first moment coincides with the solar return.
- Terrar
- An Avestan daily chart calculated a whole number of days after birth, at the same UT time. It is cast for the person’s current location.
- Planetary return
- The moment a planet’s longitude again matches its natal longitude. The Sun’s return is a solar return; the Moon’s is a lunar return.
- Radix
- The reference chart used for comparison. It is usually a natal chart, but a radix does not have to represent a birth.

Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
For date / TodayData
A reference date for which the current cycle of methodology is sought.

- Start with a short interval around the event, then expand to compare the cycle.
Minor solar return / terrar rowAction
Open the chart from the moment table.
- What changes

Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- You want to consider the small solar return of a particular month.
- What to do
- Select the year and place of your stay, find the line of the moon and open it as a circle.
- How to read the result
- The table gives the moment and cycle parameters that can be checked on the chart before interpreting.
For professional practice
Switching from the calendar table to the chart ring allows you to explore the cycle in connection with the natal chart, without rewriting the moment manually.
What to check for a precise comparison
The place of residence is part of the calculation of these calculations. Do not automatically substitute it for the place of birth.
Keep in mind
These charts depend on location. Phase lunar return, phase progressions and progressions lunar return do not have separate buttons in the current web interface selector.
