What it is and why it matters
Horary looks at the chart of the question moment according to the rules of the relevant tradition. The screen helps assign roles to planets and consistently check the conditions of judgment, instead of making a conclusion from one aspect.
When to use it
- When you work with a specific horary question.
- To teach the connection between houses, significator, reception and completion.
Terms explained
- Querent and quesited
- In horary astrology, the querent asks the question. The quesited is the person, object or topic being asked about.
- Significator
- A point or planet assigned to represent a person, topic or object in a particular astrological technique.
- Reception
- A rulership relationship: one planet occupies a dignity of another under a particular system. Mutual reception means the relationship works in both directions.
- Void-of-course Moon
- An interval defined by the selected rule for the Moon’s last aspect before changing signs. The included planets and rule can change the interval boundaries.

How to use it
- Create a chart for local time and location question and open the horary screen.
- Select houses querent and quesited for the content of the question.
- Set up the profile rulers, Via Combusta, orb rule and the option "Astrologist asks for himself".
- Consistently review the reasoning before judgment, significator, moon course, aspects, reception, testimonies and obstacles.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
Quesited houseCalculation
The sector to which the methodology assigns the subject of the question is quesited.
- What changes
- Choice I–XII assigns the appropriate house and its rulers; a list of themes helps to be oriented.
- When to use it
- First formulate a question and select the house according to the school rules. The program does not set the topic automatically by arbitrary text.
Querent houseCalculation
The person in whose name the question is read.
- What changes
- Change can assign another significator. This is important with derivative houses and questions about others.
- When to use it
- For the usual question, check I house; ask the other by a conscious scheme of derivative houses.
RulersCalculation
The table rulers, according to which the significator is determined.
- What changes
- Traditional, modern and other available profiles can designate different planets.
- When to use it
- Select the profile of the horary methodology before the reception and connection analysis.
Via CombustaCalculation
A variant of the definition of "burned path" is a special zone of the zodiac in this tradition.
- What changes
- Change the check of the appropriate warning. Different options have different boundaries.
- When to use it
- To play the source, select the exact option; the tag is not an automatic yes or no answer to the question.

- A larger location option.
- ±10° from Antares
- The zone is attached to the longitude of the star, not a fixed boundary of the sign.

- What changes
- “chart” uses its aspect rules; “moyeti” – the midpoint of planetary permissions according to the rules of this mode.
- When to use it
- For the classic technique, use myeti; different permission can explain the appearance or disappearance of contact.
Astrologer asks for themselvesCalculation
He determines whether the interpreter himself is asking questions.
- What changes
- This setting determines whether the corresponding horary cautions are applied. Planetary positions remain unchanged.
- When to use it
- Turn on for your own question, turn off for the client question; read the explanation of the warning in the panel.
The result
The screen will show the results of the application of selected horary rules.

- What to do
- First identify houses querent and quesited, then check their rulers and testimonials.
- How to read the result
- Changing the assigned houses changes the setting of the task; the program does not define the topic of the question instead of the astrologer.
