Printing, PDF and chart images
Prepare a chart for printing or file transfer.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
Export converts the current chart into a file or printed material. It is needed to discuss with the client, a training conscript or save the illustration to its own conclusions.
When to use it
- To add a chart to the consultation document.
- To prepare the image for class or publication.
Where to find it
Print or PDF is at the top; expanded export is via the table export menu.
How to use it
- Open the chart you want and check the circuit, date and parameters.
- For quick printing, click “Print or PDF”. In the browser dialog, select a printer or “Save as PDF”.
- For an image, open the table with the result (e.g., “ephemeris”), then “Export tables → Print and export...”. In the window, select chart and PNG or SVG format.
- Configure content, scale and palette, check the previous view, and then save the file.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
What: Chart / On-screen tableData
Object of export.
- What changes
- Chart prepares the circle and its sections; Table is a available report of the current screen. Without such a report, the second item is inactive.
- When to use it
- For consultation chart, select "chart", for a list of dates or numerical data - a table.
Format: Print / PDF / PNG / SVGData
How to get a document or image chart.
- What changes
- In the web version, PDF opens the browser print — select «Save as PDF». PNG — a raster circle, SVG — vector. Print transmits the layout to the browser dialog.
- When to use it
- PNG is convenient for inserting; SVG – for scaling; PDF – for a document with tables.
Content: Header / Wheel / ZET column / Planets / Houses / Aspects / DataData
Choose the sections to include in the printed document.
- What changes
- Enabled: the corresponding section is enabled. A circuit with an optional cap is exported to PNG/SVG; other sections are inactive because it is a circuit image format.
- When to use it
- Before passing on to the client, check the cap and the required tables in the preview.
Palette: Color / Black and whiteAppearance
Exported chart.
- What changes
- Black and white is suitable for corresponding printing. The calculation of aspects and planets does not change.
- When to use it
- To print, check whether the lines and symbols in the selected palette differ.
Paper: A4 / Letter; Portrait / LandscapeAppearance
The size of the sheet and its orientation.
- What changes
- Changes the layout and move in the layout. The browser dialog has its own paper and field settings, which also need to be checked.
- When to use it
- For large tables, try an album; for a regular report, a book.
Scale ×1 / ×2 / ×3Appearance
Number of pixels of the image.
- What changes
- The larger scale gives a larger PNG, rather than other astrological coordinates. The signature shows the final dimensions in pixels.
- When to use it
- For small details in the embedded image, select a larger scale; readability is reduced after download.
Copy / Save… / Print… / CancelAction
Copy the chart into the buffer, download a file or open a print.
- What changes
- The browser may require access to the buffer; the message shows the success or cause of the error. “Cancel” closes the window.
- When to use it
- Before you do, check the previous view. After saving, open the downloaded file.
The result
The file will appear in the downloads of the browser or will be sent to print.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- You need a chart for the document where the image will be enlarged.
- What to do
- Select SVG for vector graphics or PNG with the desired scale.
- How to read the result
- Check to see the name, moment and composition of circles: without context, the image is difficult to read correctly.
For professional practice
Choosing content, palette and format helps prepare the material for different media without manual repainting.
What to check for a precise comparison
A static file records a certain chart status but does not replace a backup of edited data. Agree which personal data you include.
Keep in mind
PDF in the web version is saved through the browser print dialog. The names of the settings for this dialog depend on the browser and system.
SVG stores vector graphics; PNG is suitable for ordinary image.
