Tracking an individual aspect
See the approximation to the exact and the border of orb.
Screenshots show the Ukrainian app interface. The English guide describes the same controls.
What it is and why it matters
Dynamics shows one selected aspect in time: how it approaches the exact angle and distances. This is an enlarged view of the contact, which in a general calendar may look like a single strip.
When to use it
- When you need a precise moment and boundaries of one aspect.
- When you explore repeated passages near the change of movement.
Terms explained
- Exact aspect
- The moment when the deviation from the specified aspect angle reaches zero.
- Orb
- The permitted deviation from an exact aspect angle. A wider orb includes more contacts and extends the periods during which they are considered active.
- Applying and separating aspects
- The angle between two points is approaching or moving away from exactness. Retrograde motion can produce several exact passes of the same aspect.
Where to find it
Graphics → “Dynamics of the aspect”; also from transits tables.
How to use it
- Select the method, moving planet, natal point and aspect.
- Set the center of the window. The “Wider/Lower Window” buttons change scale; “Before/Later” move period.
- View the deviation schedule and list of entries, exams and outputs.
- Select the exact time to set the background data or copy the date and time.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
Transits / Progressions / Solar arcCalculation
Method of obtaining a moving point in the graph of deviation.
- What changes
- It reconstructs the time curve and exacts for the chosen technique. One pair of planets names does not define the method itself.
- When to use it
- Before searching for dates check the technique, then the moving planet, aspect and natal point.
MovingCalculation
A planet of a predictive circle whose motion is being explored.
- What changes
- The replacement rebuilds the deviation curve for a new planet.
- When to use it
- Start with a specific contact, such as moving Saturn to natal Sun.
AspectCalculation
The exact angle from which the deviation of the graph is measured.
- What changes
- 0 on the axis means the exact performance of the chosen aspect; for a square it is 90° between points, not their conjunction.
- When to use it
- If there is no expected example, check the selected aspect type.
NatalCalculation
The fixed point of the radius to which the planet is moving.
- What changes
- A change in point changes the geometry and time of contact; radix angles depend on birth accuracy.
- When to use it
- Turn the points roles — the same two names in different order may mean a different predictive task.
Widen / Narrow window / Earlier / Later / Center windowAppearance
The scale and position of the time window around the contact being studied.
- What changes
- Allows you to see previous and subsequent passes; does not change the orb aspect profile.
- When to use it
- Expand the window so that you do not miss a repeat exact of the retrograde loop.
Exact pass / Set background data to exact pass / Copy date and timeAction
Selection of the exact passage.
- What changes
- Transferring the moment in background data or copying it for a journal. Entry and exit orb are separate events.
- When to use it
- To check the chart of accurate contact and fix the study result.
The result
The graph will show when the aspect becomes accurate and how long it is in orb.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- The transits table for the pair has several exams.
- What to do
- Open the speaker and expand the window to see all the intersection.
- How to read the result
- The curve will help to understand the sequence of convergence and divergence, rather than perceive dates as unrelated contacts.
For professional practice
Gives a detailed check of time geometry with the transition to the background date and the copy of the moment.
What to check for a precise comparison
Trust the method, moving point, natal point and orb. The absence of exact in a narrow window does not mean its absence in a wider period.
Keep in mind
If the example is not in the window, expand it or change the center.
