AI assistant and chart analysis
Ask the assistant questions and allow the use of open chart calculations.

What it is and why it matters
The assistant helps formulate questions and read the results. With your permission, he turns to the open chart tools to give explanations based on its intended position.
When to use it
- When a new term or table needs an explanation.
- When you want to quickly check a specific question to chart.
Terms explained
- Aspect
- An angular relationship between two chart points that matches an angle enabled in the calculation, such as a 90° square.
- Orb
- The permitted deviation from an exact aspect angle. A wider orb includes more contacts and extends the periods during which they are considered active.
- API key
- An access key for an AI provider’s service. It differs from the Zorya Astro login password and belongs in the dedicated field in assistant settings.
Where to find it
The “AI Assistant” button in the upper panel.
How to use it
- Open the Assistant and settings “API Model and Key”. Select Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Groq, add your own key and select the model.
- Determine whether to pass the open chart to the assistant. To analyze chart enable this option.
- Formulate a specific question, such as, "Show Sun aspects in this chart and explain which of them coincide." Press on “Ask”.
- Check the answer and action of the calculation tools. If the answer highlights points, check them on the circle; the background lighting can be removed.
- If necessary, stop the answer or repeat it with the "Try Again" button. "New conversation" starts a clean chat. If the request does not perform, check the key, model, network and message of the provider.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
Mode: Auto / My courses / GeneralData
It determines which sources the answer is based on.
- What changes
- Auto selects available tools on request; My Courses focuses on its own library; General doesn’t search in courses. In the web version, the local library of courses may not be available.
- When to use it
- To explain their school, available materials are needed; for the general term, a general mode will apply. Find the actual sources of answers.
Use the open chartData
Allows the assistant to access the data of the current chart.
- What changes
- On: the assistant can use the calculated points of the open chart. Off: the conversation excludes chart data. This option is available when a chart is open.
- When to use it
- Before asking about the client, check the name of the open chart; data in context may be transmitted to the selected AI provider.
Question field / Ask / StopAction

- What changes
- Sending starts the request; stops interrupts the response, but already made calls to the provider could have occurred.
- When to use it
- Ask for the parameters, source and verification method, such as "explain this aspect and show its orb".
New conversationAction
A new context begins.
- What changes
- Previous explanations do not replace the instructions of the new context; the source chart of the database is not deleted.
- When to use it
- For another client or new research topic, not to confuse the context.

- What changes
- The underlight indicates objects, the toolbar shows completed requests. In the browser, local video sources may not be available.
- When to use it
- To verify the conclusion, open the source or number in the chart; the text of AI may be wrong even with a convincing formulation.
Library / Add course / Index / Pause / ResumeAction
Managing local learning materials in the desktop program.
- What changes
- Indexing prepares the fragments for search. In the web version, local indexing and access to arbitrary computer texts are not available; the interface message explains the limitations.
- When to use it
- If you need to work with local courses, use the desktop version; a click does not load the entire drive into the browser.
Courses to search / All coursesData
Limits the search for selected course materials if a library is available.
- What changes
- The downloaded course is not used as a search source; “All courses” removes the limitations. In the web version, the local library has access restrictions.
- When to use it
- To work within one school, choose its course and write quotes.
The result
The assistant will respond with the stream and will be able to use chart tools on your permission.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- You want to understand the aspects of Saturn.
- What to do
- Ask for the names of contacts, orb and those that come together, and check the tools and background lights used.
- How to read the result
- Numbers can be combined with a table; text interpretation is assessed separately from the result of the calculation.
For professional practice
It can help to compile a list of checks, compare indicators and prepare a draft explanation for further author’s work.
What to check for a precise comparison
Control the chart transmission, the tools used and the sources of the formulas. AI may be wrong in explaining even when the coordinates are obtained correctly.
Keep in mind
The web version does not contain a library of courses, indexing and lesson losers.
Internet access and your own API key are required. The key is sent to the app server and the provider; it is not stored in the browser database or backup. You may need to enter it again after the session ends.
