Model, API key and assistant errors
Select the provider and check the readiness for requests.

What it is and why it matters
These settings connect the selected AI service to the assistant. The provider provides access, the model determines the AI option, and the API key allows you to perform a request from your account.
When to use it
- First question to the assistant.
- When you change the model or correct an access error.
Terms explained
- API key
- An access key for an AI provider’s service. It differs from the Zorya Astro login password and belongs in the dedicated field in assistant settings.
Where to find it
AI Assistant → “Model and API Key”.
How to use it
- Open the settings, select the desired provider and model.
- Add a key from this provider. For backup Groq, use a separate field if you want to configure backup.
- Close the settings and send a short question. For the message "Add an API Key" return to this window.
- For provider errors, check the correctness of the key, model access rights and limits in your provider account.
Settings and options
Select an option to learn how it works and when to use it. The label beside its name shows whether it affects calculations, chart appearance or data.
ProviderData
Service to which the assistant sends the request: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Groq.
- What changes
- Determines available models, key requirements and accounting API. The key of one service does not automatically match the other.
- When to use it
- Select the service you have access to; check costs and quotas in your provider account.
ModelData
A specific response model for the selected service.
- What changes
- Can change the speed, quality and cost of the response; does not change the determined astronomical calculation of Zorya Astro.
- When to use it
- To compare interpretations, write down the model and context of the question; the list may change with the version of the program.
API keyData
Secret of access to the selected AI-service.
- What changes
- The saved key allows you to follow calls from your API account. It is not a Zorya Astro login or an automatic subscription to the provider.
- When to use it
- Only enter the special field; for verification, read the status after saving, not insert the key in the message.
Groq fallback provider / Groq fallback model / Groq API keyData
Additional provider in case of supported error of the main.
- What changes
- Enabled: If an error is supported before the response begins, the request may be repeated via Groq; separate model and key are required. Questions, history and context are also transmitted to this provider. Off: Backup is not used.
- When to use it
- Set up only if you have a separate Groq access; backup does not guarantee completion in case of any error.
Save / Delete keyAction
Controls the recorded assistant parameters.
- What changes
- Saving applies a configuration; removal removes the key from the program, but does not recall it on the provider's site.
- When to use it
- If you need to recall the key as access, do so also in the corresponding service office.
The result
The assistant will use the selected model in the current session.
Worked example
This is a teaching example; results for your chart may differ.
- Situation
- The key is already entered, but the selected model returns the error.
- What to do
- Check the provider match, model access and quota status in your account.
- How to read the result
- The availability of the key does not guarantee access to each model of this service.
For professional practice
A clear choice of provider and model helps to understand the terms of receiving a response and to manage the use of the service.
What to check for a precise comparison
To compare the answers, save the model name and the question. The backup provider may give you different text; the key is not included in the backup.
Keep in mind
The saved state of the interface does not mean that the key session is still active. After it is completed, add the key again.
Do not insert the key into the text of the question; there is a special settings field for it.
